MaCCI Summer Institute in Competition Policy

The 2018 MaCCI Summer Institute in Competition Policy brought together researchers from Europe and North America to present and discuss work at the forefront of research on competition economics and regulation. Presenters from the United States were Matt Backus (Columbia), Liran Einav (Stanford), Jeanine Miklòs-Thal (Rochester), Ali Yurukoglu (Stanford), and Jidong Zhou (Yale). Workshop topics included price discrimination, vertical foreclosure, horizontal merger policy, and the effects of minority shareholding on collusion.
