In September 2015, a team of 7 MaCCI members and 2 external cooperation partners was selected to provide expert opinions on a regulatory framework for the digital economy for the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Multiple policy events taking place at the premises of the ministry in Berlin are substantial to the two-year-project. The first main workshop of the expert dialogue series is taking place on February 25, 2016. Numerous policymakers, researchers, and representatives of different government bodies as well as involved enterprises are participating. MaCCI senior member Irene Bertschek will present a meta-study in which the project team reviews the state of plenty digital markets in Germany.
