This year's MaCCI IO Day was held on 8 May 2026 at the University of Mannheim. Members gathered for a day of presentations and discussions on papers covering merger dynamics in the airline industry, algorithmic pricing, merger approval strategies. product positioning in joint ventures, industrial decarbonization, tax compliance in international trade, litigation finance, and generative AI in search.

The MaCCI IO Day is an annual workshop for members of the departments of law and economics, as well as ZEW, to present current theoretical and empirical research in the field of industrial organization in all its shades and colors.
