The competition aimed at PhD candidates and PhD graduates participating in the 2015 Economics Job Market during the American Economic Association Annual Meeting. Participating institutions included Bocconi University, London School of Economics and Political Science, Oxford University, Stockholm School of Economics, University Pompeu Fabra, and Toulouse School of Economics. The award is endowed with a prize money of € 2,000. In addition, the winner Stefan Weiergräber had the opportunity to present his paper during the annual symposium of the Spanish Economic Association in Palma de Mallorca from December 11 to 13, 2014, with the Foundation covering all travel expenses.
