MaCCI IO Day 2024
This year’s MaCCI IO Day was held on 24 May 2023. More than 30 members gathered for a day of presentations and discussions of papers on pricing (and "shrinkflation"), privacy, competition with recommendation systems, procurement, and trade. We were particularly happy to welcome Yossi Spiegel, who gave an overview of the Facebook-Giphy merger and an analysis of the UK CMA's reasoning for blocking it.
The MaCCI IO Day is an annual workshop for members of the departments of law and economics, as well as ZEW, to present current theoretical and empirical research in the field of industrial organization in all its shades and colors.
