The 13th edition of the MaCCI Law & Economics conference was held on 20 and 21 June. Organized by MaCCI senior members Jens-Uwe Franck, Volker Nocke, and Nicolas Schutz, this year's conference centered on “Recent Developments in Merger Control”. The event featured keynote speeches from Herbert Hovenkamp, Giorgio Monti, Patrick Rey, and Carl Shapiro. Participants also engaged in stimulating panel discussions on “Merger Remedies”, “Welfare Standard in Merger Control”, “Big Tech Acquisitions”, and “Mergers and Innovation”.
